Join Pima County Community Land Trust in partnership with Tucson Electric Power for a hands-on, community-centered workshop designed to empower residents with practical skills and sustainable living knowledge.
This engaging HomeTalks / Stewardship Program event brings neighbors together for a morning of learning, connection, and action. Participants will explore the basics of tree planting, receive expert guidance on proper tree care, and gain valuable energy-saving tips to help reduce household costs while supporting a healthier environment.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with others in the community, share ideas, and take part in meaningful discussions around energy efficiency and sustainable living practices. As a special incentive, the first 15 registered participants who attend will receive a free shade tree (provided by TEP) to plant at their residence—helping to create cooler, greener neighborhoods across Tucson.
Whether you're looking to enhance your home, lower energy bills, or simply get involved in your community, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn and grow together. Light refreshments will be provided.
