Virtual Homebuyer Education
Pima County Community Land Trust’s Homebuyer Education course is a HUD-approved program designed to prepare individuals and families for successful, sustainable homeownership. This comprehensive course covers the full homebuying process, including budgeting and credit, mortgage financing, working with real estate professionals, the home search and purchase process, inspections, closing, and long-term responsibilities of homeownership.
Participants will gain practical tools and knowledge to make informed decisions, avoid common pitfalls, and feel confident navigating the path to buying a home. The course is facilitated by HUD-certified housing counselors who are available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout the session.
Attendees who attend BOTH virtual sessions (07/14 & 07/16 from 5:30pm-8:00pm) will receive their Certificate of Completion at the end of the class. This certificate satisfies the HUD homebuyer education requirement and is accepted by many lenders and down payment assistance programs.
This workshop will be hosted via Microsoft Teams; unique link and meeting ID will be sent to all registered participants on 07/13. Please use the same link to attend both sessions.
